Modified Plastics, Inc. uses nearly 40 years of experience in developing custom compounded and engineering polymers. Modified Plastics meets the most stringent specifications while using high quality materials, we work closely with top material manufactures while utilizing our in house lab (PAL) to assure the highest quality feedstock’s and additives for our customers. Established in 1976, Modified Plastics is committed to the highest standards of business conduct. Started in a 5,000 sq ft building, Modified Plastics’ Santa Ana Campus has expanded to include 6 separate buildings, comprising over 65,000 sq ft of laboratory, color compounding, fortified engineering polymer development and production. Modified Plastics ships compounds both domestically and internationally. Part of our mission is to be a sustainable manufacturing site, incorporating scientific methods of production and quality. With these methods, our goal is to achieve the highest standards at the best value. At Modified Plastics we have an open door policy inviting our customers to our facility for review. We believe that a customer is entitled to know everything available about the compounds MPI provides.

Our History

Modified Plastics was Incorporated in 1976 by Robert & Jocelyn Estep in a modest 5,000 Square Foot facility, as a manufacturer of Custom Compounds. Over the years Modified Plastics has specialized in fortified engineering materials. Modified Plastics has since expanded into a campus of multiple buildings which today encompasses over 65,000 Square foot of manufacturing space, including sister companies, Color Science, Inc. (Established in 1990) and Plastics Analytical Laboratories, (PAL) Established in 2008.

Meet our Leadership Team

Jocelyn Eubank CEO

Born, (1935), and raised in north eastern France, the daughter of Anita and Eugene Rose. Survived the occupation and after effects of WW11 from the age of 10 -18. At the age of 20 left family and friends to discover opportunity in the United States. Fell in love with USA and became a naturalized citizen. Went to community college to receive an education in Accounting and Finance. In 1957 married and 2 years later had a son , (Troy Eubank). In 1972 met future husband and partner, (Robert Estep), and soon, together, founded Modified Plastics Inc. Nurtured the company for growth as an extension of her family for future generations. Under her guidance Modified Plastics prospered and established sister companies Color Science and Plastics Analytical Laboratory. Enjoys coming to work every day. Adventures include traveling, helicopter piloting, snorkeling and spending time with her family.

Troy Eubank VP Operations

After High School graduation, entered the family business as an equipment operator. While attending college, continued working for the family business through various departments, arriving at current position, VP of Operations. Conceived sister companies , (CSI) and (PAL), to further service the Plastics Industry. Graduated from Cal State Fullerton , receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing and a minor in Finance. Married , (Stephanie), with one daughter, (Devan). Standing member of Church, St. Joseph Hospital outreach and Orange Park Acres Community Group. Enjoys Serving those in need, traveling with family and Summer and Winter Outdoor activities.

Kevin Rodgers Sales and Purchasing Manager

krodgers@modifiedplastics.com 714.546.4667 Raised and spent formative years in the Redwoods of Northern California. Graduated High School and moved South for career opportunity. Join Modified Plastics/Color Science in 2002. Earned degree from Cal Poly Pomona in Plastics Engineering Technology when working primarily at Color Science. While at Color Science, moved from production supervisor to purchasing. Continued college education and graduated in 2008 with degrees in Management and Finance. In 2009 expanded Purchasing responsibilities to both Modified Plastics and Color Science. In 2010 accepted current position of Sales Manager for both Modified Plastics and Color Science. Currently lives in Tustin with his family. Enjoys outdoor activities that include hiking, team building challenges, traveling with family and friends. Devoted college football fan.
